Scoil San Nioclás is located in the picturesque village of Windgap in the south of Kilkenny, approximately eight kilometers south of Callan. The only school in the parish of Windgap, Scoil San Nioclás currently has 5 mainstream, 1 special education teacher, two SET posts, and two special needs assistants. Built in 1963, the school was extended in 1975 to cater for the amalgamation of Kilmacoliver NS, Tullahought. A special education class (ASD) was added in 2008.
