Special Class Placement 2026 - Parents who are considering a special class placement for their child from September 2026 that they must apply to the Special Educational Needs Organiser (SENO) for an eligibility letter in line with Circular 39/2025. Please note:
An eligibility letter from the NCSE is a mandatory requirement for enrolment in a special class.
Applications to the SENO must be submitted no later than October 1st, 2025.
Without this letter, children cannot be considered for placement in a special class.

Carrick On Suir Athletics Club annual schools cross country event
Scoil San Nioclás had over 80 pupils participating in the annual Carrick On Suir Athletics Club cross country event. It is the third year for the event hosted by Comeragh College as part of their Transition year initiative.
Over 13 local primary schools participated in races ranging in distance from 150m to 800m.Our pupils prepared and performed very well on the day, with medal winners in each age category.
A great morning of competition and fun was had by all and pupils were supported by their teachers, parents and guardians.
