Special Class Placement 2026 - Parents who are considering a special class placement for their child from September 2026 that they must apply to the Special Educational Needs Organiser (SENO) for an eligibility letter in line with Circular 39/2025. Please note:
An eligibility letter from the NCSE is a mandatory requirement for enrolment in a special class.
Applications to the SENO must be submitted no later than October 1st, 2025.
Without this letter, children cannot be considered for placement in a special class.

Scoil San Nioclás’ Students Council along with Mrs Caldwell organised a no uniform day to raise money for an initiative to raise funds for the Kenya Immersion Project. Past pupils of Scoil San Nioclás, Ciara O’Shea, Jenny Saunders and Eoin O’Shea are part of a team from Coláiste Abhainn Rí involved in the project.
