Special Class Placement 2026 - Parents who are considering a special class placement for their child from September 2026 that they must apply to the Special Educational Needs Organiser (SENO) for an eligibility letter in line with Circular 39/2025. Please note:
An eligibility letter from the NCSE is a mandatory requirement for enrolment in a special class.
Applications to the SENO must be submitted no later than October 1st, 2025.
Without this letter, children cannot be considered for placement in a special class.

Today 4th & 5th class went out to apply what they learnt about length and measurement in the real world. They worked with their Maths Buddies and used their Maths eyes to estimate the perimeter of the pitch, the length of the school building, how far it is to run 400m.
