Special Class Placement 2026 - Parents who are considering a special class placement for their child from September 2026 that they must apply to the Special Educational Needs Organiser (SENO) for an eligibility letter in line with Circular 39/2025. Please note:
An eligibility letter from the NCSE is a mandatory requirement for enrolment in a special class.
Applications to the SENO must be submitted no later than October 1st, 2025.
Without this letter, children cannot be considered for placement in a special class.

4th and 5th class were very busy last Tuesday making St. Brigid's crosses.
Mrs Walsh showed the pupils how to make them. The rushes were donated by Ryan & Adam’s grandad, Shem Power and by Ava Dunnes parents. It’s a wonderful tradition to keep alive and the children spoke about other traditions like ‘broc na bride’ & the holy water from the well. JulieAnne and 6th class made PowerPoints about St.Brigid for assembly. Doireann, Mairead and 5th class made a kahoot quiz about St Brigid. Frankie and 4th class showed all the children at assembly how to make a cross.
