Special Class Placement 2026 - Parents who are considering a special class placement for their child from September 2026 that they must apply to the Special Educational Needs Organiser (SENO) for an eligibility letter in line with Circular 39/2025. Please note:
An eligibility letter from the NCSE is a mandatory requirement for enrolment in a special class.
Applications to the SENO must be submitted no later than October 1st, 2025.
Without this letter, children cannot be considered for placement in a special class.

Our u13 team of Hannah Egan, Doireann Quigley, Mairead Moore and Jenna King took part in the u13 quiz last Monday evening. Over 40 schools took part and there were 12 rounds of 6 questions covering everything from school subjects to politics, culture and Sport. The girls were brilliant and scored 53 with the highest score 56. It was a fabulous experience for them and they enjoyed the evening. Well done girls and thanks to Ms.Hayes for mentoring both teams.
